Lake Limerick is located about five miles northeast of Shelton. It was formed in 1966 by impoundment of Cranberry Creek. Lake Limerick is fed mainly by Cranberry Creek, as well as three other minor inlets.

Good fishing for Rainbow trout, largemouth Bass and yellow perch. boat speed is 8 mph.To get there from Shelton, travel north on Highway #3 for 4.2 miles to Mason Lake Road. (There is a sign here that points to Lake Limerick.) Turn left, up the hill on Mason Lake Road for 2.2 miles to a large "Lake Limerick" sign on the left. Turn left for a half mile to the public access on the right.
